Yoyo Concept Phone

This has to be one of the most unique mobile phone design concepts in ages. Forget the sliders, clamshells, and candybar phones - the Yoyo form factor wants to make its way into your hands.

The name of the phone comes from its shape; it looks like a yoyo. It even allows you to wrap your headphone wires around the inner housing of the handset - just like you'd do with the string of a real yoyo.

The Yoyo phone was designed for NEC by US designer Shaik Ridzwan. Right now it's just a concept, but who knows, maybe one day they'll actually manufacture it.
